Rebekah Cohen wrote her debut novel Abnora's Quest at just nine years old. Full of ghosts, magic, adventure, and lots of chocolate, it's a charming tale of a princess's journey to become queen that proves friendship can be found in the most unlikely places.
Even as a young writer, Rebekah showed remarkable range. She demonstrated both compassion and entrepreneurial spirit when, after watching the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina unfold, she and her sister painted and sold rocks to raise over $3,000 for the Red Cross.
A karate champion who took first place in a statewide tournament, Rebekah brought that same determination to her creative work. She writes music published through her family's music publishing company, with songs licensed for film and television. Her goal has always been to see her literary works adapted for the screen.
